Startled, you turn around. "Ka?" No one answers. This is not a good sign. She was right behind you. The lab, so cozy a bit ago, now seems daugnting.
You carefully manuver around a large open shelf of glassware, past a table full of book, and into a hallway. There are a few ways to go, but which is best is beyond you.
You consider your options. You could walk ahead, and that way seems rather open. There is a stariway headed up, which is well lit. Then there is a stairway down, which seems somewhat foreboding, but there appears to be someone down there.
You look upn to a sound, and see The Assistant again, asking on the window ledge.
"The air is quite, the music light.
Fallow once, my loney flight."
